Nude lips on a budget!
If like me, you’re CRAZY about lipstick and lipgloss and you love nude lips, I think you’ll appreciate this post. MAC Myth lipstick and MAC Underage lipgloss are my ultimate must-haves, they achieve the perfect nude look. However, sometimes you want the perfect nude look but don’t have the perfect bank balance!! So here’s my solution:
After much trying out and testing of various nude wannabes over the years, I often found I was buying so many cheaper substitutes that in the end, I would have saved money by just buying MAC in the first place. But the following two little gems won’t break the bank and WILL achieve the perfect nude lip.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Nude Delight lipstick. Lips so cared for, true colour is maximised! This moisture infusing formula contains collagen, polypeptides and hyaluronic acid, which work together to deeply hydrate and condition lips. The better condition your lips are in, the better your lips will look and feel. Nude Delight is the perfect nude shade, not too orange but not too pale.
Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in Nude Candy. I first came across this brand in Penneys, picked up a lipgloss in a gorgeous nude shade to give it a try because it was the perfect colour and so unbelievably cheap, it would be no great loss if it wasn’t great. But it was! So moisturising and so pigmented, unbelievable product for such a low price.
Combine the two above to achieve an amazing nude lip. Not only will your lips look good but they’ll feel good too, these two gems are ultra moisturising. Both look great worn alone too!
Rimmel Nude Delight lipstick (€7.55) available in Doc Morris pharmacies and Boots stores nationwide. Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in Nude Candy (€2.29) available in Penneys stores nationwide.
Just because your bank balance isn’t looking good doesn’t mean you can’t! 😉
